Ok, found my mind, got the keys, got the van, fixed the trailer flat, got a "new" blue paddle jacket*, and some nicely brined green label herring. Now  I'm going to steal a bit of tomorrow morning (gotta be off the water by 9) for a shot at some silver. Probably going to join the Hawthorne fleet, but I'm up for anywhere from OC to Warrior Rock. Any suggestions?  Anybody want to join me?

*Now P2 can keep his stinky ol red jacket! :P

Wish I could.  Catch 'em up.  Tell us what you find out there because I've got a hall pass for the whole day Saturday and I can't decide where to fish and what to fish for.  Springers are calling my name too.

How'dja do?  See any caught?
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  --Mark Twain

Wali,
The other evening when I ran into you under the Sellwood bridge, only the yum yum Malibu was visible. I think you need to bring back the highly visible (meaning:brightly colored) salmon (or was that PINK) splash top. You wouldn't want a stink pot to run you down because of a less visible top... ;)

The Dawn patrol that became the Afternoon Attack ended up being the twilight twiddle. Launched under the Sellwood at about 5:30 and paddled up to those "islands" in front of the condo's south of the bridge. Current was rippin and I guess they used up all the Springer green water for St. Patty's day. It looked like latte. Man, it's challenging paddling in current and trying to fish at the same time! Where's my pedals!?!?Th The weather was nice and the paddle uneventful with no fishys. Only a couple of boats out anchored on the green can and across the river, with a couple more upstream.

I was sporting the blue jacket Jay, but I wore a ORANGE work vest that kept me apparent.
