...the Scotch & Salmon flotilla?...or the Gin & Juice Hogline?..or (insert yours here)

Just floatin' this idea for the PDX crew - since Kayak anglers are masters of multi-tasking, and since most of us would rather be fishing instead of entertaining the neighbors on Friday night - it might be time to consider a floating hog line of Friday evening fishing and general rowdiness on the water.

There is now plenty of daylight in the evenings.  We can retain fish on Fridays.  And someday the sun will show up.

We could meet up on a Friday in April around 4 or so.  And break at dusk...or later?  George Rogers for Dino?  Sellwood or Hawthorne for Chromers?  Oregon City for Shad could be some fun action.

Anyone have thoughts on this?

I think that pic has been circulating the web for years.  If I recall correctly, it is NOT a Willy fish, perhaps a Fraser River fish.

I've seen that picture floating around the boards for a lot longer than 2 weeks.

Word I heard is that it was actually caught on the Fraser (in BC) several years ago.

But even if it was caught in the Willamette by a registered yakker, it would be worth zero points, for being oversize. ::)
