Anyone here ever hear of, or used this knot? 

Looks pretty interesting.  No actual knot to get snagged going through the pole line guides.
   

Gotta go to the link below, and then there is a link to a forum with a video and explaination there of 80lb Mono tied to 80lb Power Pro.    Then on page 4 of the forum there is an example of 30lb Power Pro tied to 15lb Mono.  Be sure to read all the comments folks made on their results.  Sounds like it has a learning curve to get right, but once you get it right it is solid!

An albright knot is almost as slim and ten times as fast.

Didn't say it was the best knot out there, just asked if anyone has ever heard of or ever used it before.
