Blackmans lake 4/19

I'm headed to Blackmans tomorrow in Snohomish to test out my new set up.  This will be my first trip out in my Mini x and it should prove to be a good day on the water.  I'll be on the water by 9am if anybody is looking to catch some trout give me a shout.

There's trout in Blackmans?!  How about panfish and bass?  I am in Snohomish often.  Do you launch at Ferguson Park?  I remember a dock at Ferguson; is it still there?

Demonick... there are trout in Blackmans Lake and some fairly good sized ones or so I've heard.  I managed to catch a few but all in the 12" range.  I did see a couple caught that looked like they could go 20"+.  There is a dock near the launch that I believe is part of Ferguson park though I'm not sure.  I know there is a park on the opposite side of the lake that has two docks as well.
On a side note my maiden voyage with the new Mini X was awesome!  The yak performed very well and I couldn't be happier.  Can't wait to get out on the water again....  I've been bitten!!

Gotta love the Mini-X! That thing is a blast!

Yakintup, you've mentioned that Mini X on several occasion now.  Looks like it would be a hoot to play in the surf with, as well as fishing in a mud puddle.   

I may have to keep me eyes peeled for one.   

Good luck finding any used. If you can, jump on it. They've only been on the market since late '06 I think.
They are light too!! EASY to carry!
