Which Cuda model to buy?

Folks,
I've been looking at the Cuda depthfinders, and cannot seem to tell the difference between say the cuda 168 and 300...  The price difference is negligible.  Anyone have any experience with these df's?  I think the 300 is the more recent model, if that is important I'm willing to spend the extra couple bucks.

Any feedback on ease of installation - quality of product etc. is appreciated!

Plenty of talk on the board about the FF's you're mentioning. Do a search and see if you can't find the info you're looking for. If you can't we're always here to help.

used the search function, lots about different cuda's but nothing about the 300 model.  Oh well, I'll just grab the next "great deal", I'm sure they're all fine for reading bottom. 

It's new. I believe it replaced the 250

like Jay said,The 300 is the newer model, i don't think anyone here has one yet. I have the 250 S/Map gps. I like it for the money, does everything i need it to. I saw the 350 s/map gps for 217 at a site revoroy posted a few days ago.

grab it if you can go back after it.. we have lots of cuda users here , so you can't go wrong with it..

hope to see you at luhr beach some day for a salmon chase... i learned a lot from you last fall.

Thanks guys, I'm pretty well decided on the 300 - cannot really justify the extra money for GPS, as I fish near shore and research any area I plan to fish thoroughly. 

Thanks Rich, I had a good time paddling the nisqually with you, we'll have to give it another shot.  Those tide water salmon can be finicky - as we found out that day.
