Wow.  How do you follow that up?
I want to thank everyone who participated in this event.  Even if you just wanted to ask when it was.   I personally am lucky enough to escape serious injury while overseas.  But I do know what it feels like to want to do something...anything!  but cant.  I see these guy's/gal's all day long just walking from one appointment to the next, day in and day out.  Then it comes time for the weekend and all allot of them do is sit around the barracks and wait for the week to start over again.
Well to make a long story short..Eight of the ten soldiers who came out last Saturday have came by my office or called and ALL want to go kayak fishing this weekend or the next.
I have a request by a wounded woman soldiers support group here to do a small H.O.W event for them in late July.  I'll probably only need one guide to help with that one..More to come.
Thanks again everyone.  I cant wait to see all your pictures (mine are in Cali w/my wife....DOOOH!),
Brian

ck76,
Thanks for affording us the opportunity to paddle and fish with those amazing men and women!
"Hero" is an overused and misused word, but NOT in this case. These folks are shining examples of courage and self sacrifice!

Sorry about taking so long to post the photos that Sally and I took.

Hey, Sgt Jackson, didn't you have a weekend camp out planned as a H.O.W. Event this past weekend? did that even go off or did you postpone it?
