He guys...Im wondering what your thoughts are on Hobies in general...Please be specific to your experience as well...What models are more Scotty friendly and what models are more RAM friendly for rigging...

The Revo I just got seems way more RAM friendly than my old yaks...All the deck space is gone from what I am used to...The only way for me to get that area back is to mount RAMs on the vertical beyond the mirage drive...

I cant see mounting much scotty stuff on here...Please correct me if you think I need it...

Id like to hear about your Hobie :)

well alot of people have mounted on the gunnel rails just in front of the pockets including myself...i used all ram but i don't know if scotty will fit or not...if its a 2009 then it would be hard with the handles there..mine is a 2008 so nothing is in the way

i like the idea of having flushmounts from scotty but don't wanna cut that big a hole in the yak just yet lol...plus the fact of the matter at least now with my ram tube rod holder...I never take it off so what good does a flush mount do if you never remove the rod holder...and my other ram holder is for my humminbird only because they make the bracket that fits it

Both work pretty well but I prefer Scotty flushmounts so I can have a clear deck. Like YN said in front of the pockets. The Revo and Adventure are really similar.
