Was on my way somewhere thursday in rushhour traffic southbound on I5... think it was a silver Toyota Tundra, giant Chargers decal on the rear window plus Kayak Fishing Supply and Malibu stickers (plus a few others that I don't recall...)

My lady was born and raised in Santee, she set a lot of records playing basketball at Santana High! Her parents still live there. Man, that's a convenient place to have family that's for sure!

I can't claim native, but I spent a couple years living on my boat at the Naval Station, a year or so in the SDSU area, and my favorite by far was a couple of years in Ocean Beach. That's where I fell in love with the Pacific and San Diego for sure.

Ah, San Diego... one of the few places in the country you'll see something like this on a regular basis....

I migrated north too from SD....It got too crowded for me in in 1989....
Fished La Jolla, Del Mar, Cardiff, Seaside off of a surfboard/sailboard since around 1965..
It was fun throwing rootbeer scampies at Calicos in the kelp beds... Lived in La Mesa.. Went to Helix...Class of 66... I still go back to visit and fish with my buddies... They do have the weather ;D
..Calm winds and fair seas..

I lived most my life in San Diego; Carlsbad, Encinitas, North County. Check out the link in my sig; there are a lot of SD area fishing photos and videos.
Chargers have to be one of the biggest heartbreak teams of all time. I remember the Air Coryell era; Chargers would be leading 36-0 at halftime and wind up losing 37-36. They would let the other team score to get the ball back.

Yeah, I've taken a look at your pics and they're great! Looks like we were fishing in some of the same spots and may some of the same people.

Yeah, even recently they have had waaayy too many anticlimactic seasons. This year looks like it might be a good one though. I just hope they can finally find a way to fully utilize all of the talent they have.

From what I've been hearing, it looks like a lot of the fishing grounds, including La Jolla Cove and point, are going to be closed by the State.

What Elementary/Junior High did she attend?  What year did she Graduate.  I or one of my Brothers or Sister (All younger than me) might know her.  I attended Sycamore Canyon Elementary from K-8!
