Howdy all,

I want to try out launching from a beach (I've pretty much figure it out with docks, boat ramps and lakesides).

The ocean forecasts look like, as far as I read them, super calm next week.  If that is the case, anyone want to accompany a noob out onto the blue?

Since I basically set my own schedule, I can be free anyday, but am hoping for next Wednesday (the 8th).

Working on getting the FF installed, and need to pick up a VHF, but I really don't want to miss out on a great looking window.

If nothing else, I want to practice launching and landing.  I would love to catch a few rockfish, but that would be icing.

Cheers,
Madoc

I'll be out there Monday the 6th. Time to fill up the freezer some more.

I'll be down (Netarts) for the next 10 days starting Saturday.  So I will be fishing every chance the forecast gives me.

Don't think I can make it on the 8th, as I'll be back at the shop. I'm keeping an eye on conditions and hoping to get out at PC on my last day off, Monday the 6th. I'll see what the ocean is doing for Monday. Magicseaweed conditions for that day seem to be changing by the hour at this time.

Keeping an eye one the forecast... I'll be there Monday AM to fish but if the conditions aren't favorable, I'll be entertaining the beachgoers by paddling my barge in and out of the surf. Once I get beat up enough, I'll spend some time flying kites.

I wanna go... It'd have to be Sunday or Thursday for me though.
It's never too late to start procrastinating.

Still a little to early to make a solid call on early next week. Sunday looks like a thumbs down and the trends for latter look a little yucky, it looks like conditions that only give you a short morning fish, hopefully once the wind settles out we get some flat days. I may have to activate my alternate AOTY plans for the coastal area ;)
