I looked at one of these once and dug up some history on them.  REI used to offer them.  I would have bought it as the price was right on this old school yak, but alas the cockpit was too short for my long-ish legs.

went and looked at this in person today.. this definitely will make someone a nice surf play boat. (Nanook, AndyJade, et al, you listening? )

i passed on it because after sitting in it, playing with it, i decided it isnt for me.

the rudder is a tiny "D" at the back and doesnt clear the stern bottom. i didnt like the low volume hatches. and it definitely will need a  good seat.

basically, its a high speed old school SOT tourer. the price is right, too,. i looked it up last night and in the great shape this is in, it is welll worth the money he's asking.
