Bonus Day

8/1,, Sunset Bay again... Tired of no bite ,, wasn't going to go today but when i got there 3 kayaks were there and water looked better so off i went..
  The fish were at 12 ft, blacks and not nvery many, no bottom jig bite for me.. Hot tec, was a diver crankbait 9 blacks,, but the kicker was a 27 in rwally fat ling and a Silver maybe 28 in..  the ling came on the crank in the sugre against the rock,, SUPRISE !!  then bam something is different ,i think it's another ling, in the shallow wash.. Towing away from the boiler i see silver flash. another SUPRISE!!  
  Coho is all over the place, i get to safe water and it wraps the rudder, he's perty tired now ,, give slack Reed comes over and un-Tangles my line and were off again 4 ft in the air by Reeds stern.
   Killer day,, one little patch of fish  and two bonus fish .. Also up grade Black.. Great day ,Royg

Nice day on the water Royg!! I drove by earlier but still been lazy. Went and got a new camping vehicle today! (it's blingy)ready for some road trips soon... Got an oldy tent trailer for sale if you know anyone that's looking.

Gonna hit it tomorrow, haven't fished in a month...jonesing for some fishing

You're not kidding.  Funny though, they'll rest for a couple of seconds, go ballistic and then rest again.  I pointed that one I got toward the yak while she was resting and she jumped right in my lap.
