Fished off my Alumaweld last weekend w/ my bro and caught all kinds of salmon (kings, silvers and humpies). While we used only herring w/ deep six and flashers I noticed allot of anglers were buying up greenish, silver colored Kroc's (crocodiles or whatever they are called) w/ a 5 oz. banana weight.

Can someone educate me regarding "crocodiles" ?

Can you use them off a kayak vs. doing the dreaded flasher/herring troll with all the drag fighting you?

Thanks.

The blue Luhr Jensen Croc is one of my favorite lures. Catches just about everything.
