I'm launching at 1 at Chambers, I'd love some company. Tide flop is at 3 so it should be good fishing.

dang!  didn't bring the yak with me today or i would have.  i'm going to be out there thursday evening though.

i hooked 2 and lost 1 out there last time jiggin Pt Wilson darts aboutt 200 yards out from the mouth and just a tad north in around 40-50 feet of water.  the fish were hanging out pretty shallow like 20-35 feet.

good luck and lemme know if you want to hit it again on thursday.

sure!  i'll be there at 5:30 pm at the steilacoom boat launch, where you launched last time.  the park was a sandy pain in the rear.  i'm looking forward to it!!

Chamers was dead.  barely a fish around at all.  marked next to nothing on the FF and no decent sized salmon.  even went under the trestle and into the the bay and there was still nothing.  i trolled around with the Royal Flashes which have great action to them without a dodger or flasher by the way.  i think these will do well with silvers in a few weeks.

if you're after kings, best to try Nisqually flats or Maybe Mouth of the Puy.  or wait until some rains drive more fish towards their natal grounds.
