To any one who may want to join in.

I'm headed to the mouth of the nasty nis this Sun morning to try to intercept these kings that continuously elude me in the river. A few people I work with have suggested green and white buzz bombs early in the morning. I figure I would give this a try for a while. If it doesn't appear to do the trick, I'll most likely try jigging PW darts around bait balls depending on the PB crowd. Sun rise is @ 6:28, low tide @ 8:48am, high tide @ 4:53pm with a 12' exchange. I'm looking at a 6:00am launch, and about a 12:00pm'ish return (depending on the bite/PB crowd).

Hope to see some of you there,

Dick  ¿  <º)))><

Take exit 114 strait onto martin Way.

Turn right on to Meridian.

Exit right out of the the roundabout, and watch for green public fishing signs.

Follow the green public fishing signs. It's only one, maybe two more turns.

You will dead-end at a parking lot with a boat ramp. Very easy launch, and paddle.

Marked quite a few on the FF, but no takers. started with a buzz bomb, and ended with a PW dart. Really nice morning on the water. I had the out going tide take me out with very little effort, and the incoming tide took me right back in. It was nice to not have to fight a current for once. I must have seen 100+ flounder scooting around in 6 or less FOW. If I had my 5wt fly rod with intermediate sinking line with me, I would have stopped to feed them a clouser minnow. After I finally put a nice king to rest over a bed of coals, I'm be headed back to pick up a few. The wife is already getting tired of eating salmon. It was on the menu 4 nights this week.
