Ocean outlook looks rough this weekend, I'm thinking of trying some crabbing at Whalen Island/Clay Myers state park instead. I recently picked up two Crab-King coiling crab rings, and I'm itching to try em out. Had anyone tried crabbing at Clay Myers park before? How deep is the water there?

Shallow... deepest area is right near the bridge.  Not sure of exact depth but can't be more that 25ft, if that. The rest of bay is very shallow. Netarts would be a better producer, but whalen is smaller and more scenic from a yak
