Sure hope MagicSeaweed is right.  Been wanting to hit the ocean for awhile now and this next weekend the swell and wind look good so far.  If the conditions hold I'll launch around 0700 Saturday 10/10 to chase lingcod and rockfish.  Sunday's on too if things stay good.  Anybody interested is welcome to come - be good to have some company -
