With the Yakima stuff it is a fairly decent deal... especially for someone just starting out.

The twin hatch Scupper Pro is a prize find in some people's book.  It has a bit of a cult following.  That one looks to be a bit faded, but sometimes it is hard to tell from pics.  Check it out carefully if you're considering buying it.  $450 with Yakima is an ok price.  If I were looking at it, I'd like to get it the package below $400.

It certainly is doable.  But the Scuppers are a narrower boat and to some people (depending on experience) they are a bit tippy.
