They look yummy! I'd eat 'em if I were a fish.

Sweet, thanks Andy.  Luckily for me ling season doesn't close down for the winter here in Oregon.

Great looking swimbaits andy. I really like your jig heads as well.

Thank you Zee.  Did you see them on NCKA?  I gave about 80 away at an event and people liked them so I put them for sale for two bucks each.  A lot of guys were saying they pay four.

Nice work Andy.  See this thread (http://www.northwestkayakanglers.com/index.php/topic,3690.0.html) for some of the things the guys here like to see.  It's almost time for me to be making swimbaits.  I hope mine turn out like yours!!!

Hi Squidgirl.  The heads are from 2-4 oz and are 2 dollars each.  Normally I've seen them between 3.25 and 4 dollars.  The swimbaits are 1 and 1.50 each for the medium and large.  These are made locally by Pete Cormier (Deadly Duo).  He's been a friend and father to me and a good friend to Brian Cobrakayak76.

Allen that's cool you make your own baits thanks for the thread that was cool.  Luckily for Brian and I we found Pete when we were young bass fishing kids and he's always been very generous and a cool old hippie dude like Brian said.  Business slowed for him and his quality and prices are good so I've been selling a few jig heads and swimbaits on NCKA and we're putting together a couple prizes for the AOTY.  It's been really cool to see pictures and videos of nice fish caught on this stuff.

Any one who's interested can pm me.  I can post a few references from NCKA members who were really happy with this stuff if any one wants.  Pete can pretty much make any color and size swim bait  and head custom if you have an idea or existing bait you want.   Thanks again.  I know I don't post much here but I read almost every thing and have really enjoyed this site.

Hey Brian remember that old guy out of Cambria that fishes everyday of the week in an aluminum boat and gave us those light blue top swimbaits that killed the reds.  That's Pete's version of it after telling him what I wanted.  The Chartreuse with blue green is one the guy showed me later when you were gone.  That has been the best ever for big lings.  If you need some baits I'm sure Pete will make you some heads and swimmies.  Andy

Hey Andy.. I know this is an old post but I'll reply anyways..

Yeah I remember that guy.  Super nice of him to line us up on the " two hotel"  spot, and hook us up with the swimbaits.    I cant wait to see in person what Pete is turning out these days.  I seriously thing Pete could pour swimbaits that look like dog poop and they would still slay rock fish (well, dog poop with red flakes) ;D

BTW, the swimbaits and jigs look amazing. If I can't get out on the coast soon to try them soon I might start chewing on them myself.
