I have to admit I envisioned myself several times with the motor set to 3kts with a margarita in the cup holder fishing/sun bathing in Baja.

Normaly I'm not into this sort of thing, but for this guy and what he wants to do, it's the perfect boat.

Looking good.

Did you think about upgrading the prop on the motor?

-Allen

We took it out today. Me in a sea kayak and him in the torque. I'd say he averaged 3kts heading upstream into 1kt. It wasn't hard to outpace him with my paddle. But hands free fishing is nice. The torque MAY beat a paddle on long distance. That battery can run 3.4 hrs at full tilt. I'm sure I could match that with a paddle, but it wouldn't be normal for me to paddle that long with out stopping, and I'd be pretty tired for sure.

I think that prop will be fine, but I left it open to him as a possible upgrade should the need arise.
