Hey gang, my name is Ammen Jordan.  I am a photographer for Confluence Watersports (Wilderness Systems, Perception, etc.)  Anyway, I have had the hardest time finding people to go kayak fishing with here in WA and Greg from Methow Fishing just turned me on to this forum.  Anyway, I have boats and gear and want to do some fishing and photo taking.  Give me a shout if you are interested!  I'll buy you dinner and give you copies of the photos...

Howdy Ammen!

Mmm, dinner!! ;) When I get a chance to get to the wetside, I'll give you a shout! I happen to work with G. Knab, as a flyfishing guide, here in the Methow. If you're ever interested in checking out yak fishing on the east side of the state, let me know.

I'd guess that some of the events that are planned, like the Moutcha Bay Tournament, would be great photo ops.

Welcome Ammen!  Now you know why we started this site ... purely selfish reasons to find others to go kayak fishing with.   ;D

I'm sure you'll find some people here to go kayak fishing with.  All the ones I've met have been really nice too!  Well, except for that one guy.   ;)

Like Pisco said, check out the Moutcha Derby, that'll probably be the biggest gathering of kayak anglers in the NW.  Or if you have more free time, come join us at Nootka Sound (http://www.northwestkayakanglers.com/bb/index.php?topic=347.0).  Or the Everett Coho Salmn Derby (http://www.northwestkayakanglers.com/bb/index.php?topic=303.0)

Other than that, check for hookups here or post one of your own.

Is there room on the July 8-12 trip?  How many people are confirmed?

I'm shooting right now for our next round of catalogs and print ads and this might be a great opportunity to both accomplish this and get you some images that you could use for promotion of your services and future trips...

Ah sorry, the only trip going is July 29-August 3, which we arranged directly with Moutcha Jim.

Full disclosure just FYI.  I'm sponsored by Ocean Kayak so I can't help you on your catalog work for obvious reasons, but you're welcome to fish and shoot pictures with me any day.  And I'm don't run a kayak fishing business, these trips are being offered by Moutcha Jim as a water taxi service to the Friendly Cove cabins.

Understood.  I have until 7/27 to get as much in as I can, so let's try and put together something before then.  If you have unsponsored friends that can join us for an afternoon/day/weekend let's put something together.  As you can see I have all the new boats from Confluence so maybe we can find some people that would like a chance to demo them on the water?

Hey Ajordan, welcome!! Would be happy to fish when you've got the time. I fish about 3-4 times a week in the Sound and lakes around here. Gimme a holler when you're available and let's go fish!

Oh yea, Moutcha is gonna kick ass!! Can't wait Pole2!!! >:D >:D >:D
