Any suggestions for techniques I should try at Riffe Lake this weekend?  I'm going to target rainbows and Coho.  Tacoma Power claims they stock the lake with landlocked Coho.  Most reports I see are from guys targetting Bass.

Evidently I was wasting my time going down to Riffe.  I didn't see anything on the Fishfinder at all, so I emailed the Cowlitz Fisheries guys and got this back from their senior fisheries biologist:

Riffe Lake has not been planted with fish for many years, however, the juvenile coho and steelhead migrating downstream from the upper Cowlitz River basin grow and are caught in Riffe Lake. Mayfield Lake is stocked with catchable trout each year on an every-other-week schedule from April through the end of August.

Hopefully I'll make up for it this weekend.  Going to hit American Lake Friday and Battle Ground Lake on Saturday/Sunday.  Battle Ground got over 35,000 plants this year, with around 300 triploid or brood stock plants.  Gotta figure something out for Sunday/Monday.

Ha, I'm no kayak veteran myself.

We're heading down Friday night, Fishing Saturday.  Bunch of my girlfriend's friends are meeting us there.  You're welcome to join us.

Going to be trying the other end of Riffe Lake at some point this weekend.  Let me know if you're interested in meeting up.
