Columbia River salmon and steelhead
endorsement not required for Riffe Lake

Action: Remove Columbia River Salmon and Steelhead Endorsement requirement from Riffe Lake.

Effective date: April 1, 2010.

Species affected:   Landlocked salmon and steelhead.

Location: Riffe Lake.   

Reason for action: Salmon and steelhead in Riffe Lake are landlocked.

Other information: The Columbia River Salmon and Steelhead Endorsement will take effect April 1. The Columbia River Salmon and Steelhead Endorsement still applies to Mayfield Lake.

Awesome of them to update it less than a week after I paid.  Then again, I fish Mayfield too.  They don't stock Riffe anymore, so that's probably why no fee.

I am out at Mayfield almost every weekend. I spend most of my time in the Cowlitz Inlet & will be paddling a OC Caper.
