Hi,
My name is Daniel Dalton, Ive been kayak fishing for about 4 years, ever since I moved to Post Falls, Idaho from California(kinda ironic that i didn't pick it up down there). I did not realize that there is a community of kayak fisherman up here, so finding this website was kinda a godsend. Since I've only been at it for 4 years any wisdom from other kayak fisherman is greatly welcomed. I currently have a Emotion Grand Slam Angler. I currently fish CDA, Hayden, Hauser, Chain lakes,Rose, Twin, Spirit, and a few Washington side lakes(Out of state lisc :'().

Hi Daniel, I'm a recent transplant from California myself, welcome to NWKA. I was part of the NorCal Kayak Anglers group down south and I'm just starting to get out around here. Shoot me a message if you would like to fish together sometime. I'm planning on heading out this weekend to try for some pike if you would like to meet up!  :icon_thumleft:

Welcome!  I am new to Kayak fishing, and live in Spokane Valley.  We are looking to do some fishing in Idaho soon.  Drop a post if you want to plan a trip.  I have been to Williams lake outside of Cheney twice in the past week, and had a bunch of fun getting my fist few fish in the yak.  I ended up limiting trout on both trips.  fun lake, just watch for the PB water skiiers.....

If you want to go to some of the chemney area lakes let me know, they are worth the trip.  Watched a bald eagle go fishing right next to me last weekend.
When in doubt, throw a line out!

Another newbie here. I am looking to buy my first boat to use on the Snake river south of you folks. Can you guys recommend a store in the Spokane/Cda area that carries a good selection of kayaks?
Is this a likely spot? http://www.kayakcoeurdalene.com/index.html
I would like to try a OK Prowler 13, but have no dealers down here in the LC valley.

Cabelas sells Emotion and Ocean Kayak brands but there stock is kinda limited, I only saw the Prowler 11,  but they can order the OK Prowler 13.

it looks like we might get a group up here afterall. Welcome aboard, like fishin jay, I transplanted from Norcal. I am in Nampa, but love to travel, and I would love some pike action from the yak. Lets plan a trip, not new to the kayak, but clueless to pike fishing. Im up.

We sell OK, Wilderness Systems, Liquid Logic, Feel Free, and Hurricane SOT's and can ship anywhere in the U.S. for $99. We also have 15% off or more on all SOT's now through the end of the month. jason@aldercreek.com. Not easy for you to come by and demo, but we could chat and I can place you in that perfect boat based on a little Q&A with 99.9% accuracy over the phone.

Also have my OK Scupper Pro for sale rigged for fishing @ $400
