I've seen that site before, I thought somebody posted the link here but maybe not. Either way, very cool site and it's nice to know those guys get to do a little fishing while they're there.

One of the founder of that club, a World Record holder of two species from there, and a good friend of mine, lives in Charleston, SC...Just up the road...

First three pictures on this page are him...

Ken retires from the Air Force next month, and has been instrumental in organizing and starting South Carolina's Heroes on the Water Kayak fishing club for disabled war vets.

Stand up guy.

Trying to get him to come on a trip to Alaska...  But with him...  It is money.  Hopefully his post retirement job gives him enough free cash to make a trip..  He is a Combat Photographer by profession, and takes some awesome pictures...  I want to get him up there to take pictures of Polepole, myself and others fishing and catching...  You know the pictures, we are too busy catching and fishing to get...

yeh, Roy, i kind of remember seeing it fairly regulary when i was a kid and fished the mountain and almost urban streams in Central Penna. with family 40+ years ago... but, over time, with the emasculation of the american male and the advent of the age of the wimp we really get in trouble for open carry.. just look at how hysterical the outcry has been since the national park service gave open carry the green light recntly..

but, in the case of our men and women in harms way, hey go for it..

Wie Gehts, Troy? hope your friend is able to help out
