Am i the only one that can NEVER get threw to there local county marine patrol??? Ive called the Jackson county Marine Patrol Division, 10 times in the last 2 days and haven't got connected!! and this isn't the fist time. I had questions about the new 10' permit. I ended up calling Salem (answered fist ring) they were very helpfull. Found out that that permit is transferable, you can lend it out with your boat.

Yeah when this first hit the floor, I e-mailed them to get clarification.  Seems they didn't think everything through on the first round.

Here is a link from their website that can help ya.

You're going to have to be classified as a "float toy".

i got a hunch, there going to up the price every year once they see how many get purchased, like the fishing licences. 66$ + 14$ = 80$$ this year for me and my wife to go fishing! its worth the fun, just hope it doesn't get up there too high.
