Sorry I forgot to post this here sooner...

Come give back to your river at the annual Siletz River Cleanup, this Saturday, April 24 from 9am – 2pm. This event, usually the first Saturday each April, was rescheduled due to high water earlier this month. Current predictions are for 4' of water.

Meet for coffee at Hee Hee Illahee Park in Siletz (south end of town on Hwy 229 at Siletz River) and check in. Our activities will be focused on the upper sections from Twin Bridges to Jack Morgan Park.

The day ends back at Hee Hee Illahee Park in Siletz with chili dogs and for lunch (served til 2 pm) and door prizes too. All volunteers are eligible but must be present to win.

Please remember to wear appropriate clothing for the weather, rubber boots and gloves.

Boats are welcome and encouraged. Got extra seats? Bring a friend or ask someone at the registration station if they'd like to float. Registered boating participants receive free river shuttles on the upper river courtesy of Kim's River Shuttles.

Bring your rod.  Summer steelhead are in in numbers and this is a great opportunity to add to your AOTY numbers.

Advanced registration is available on SOLV's website.

Thank you for your support.

FS - I wish I could, I love trash and chili dogs, but my girlfriend has stuff in pdx Sunday morning. Would be more driving than it's worth. The air would be dirtier than the river would be cleaner. Hope you get a great turnout, and props to you for the outdoor school thing. When I went through that deal all those years ago I'm sure I would have had a more rewarding experience if someone there actually had a clue.  ???
