Spring Conditions

There's all kind of good fishing to be had, but the weather just isn't playing ball. After a week of torrential rain and 40+ mph wind it finally got a little better and just snowed. Hoping the wind drops back into the 20 mph and below range tomorrow so some fishing can commence.

Snow in MAY? My brother lives in Forks, Wa. and said it was snowing, sleeting and raining yesterday, but they still whacked the fish.

The snow and rain won't stop us but the wind sure will. Anything above 25 mph pretty much shuts down the kayak fishing, even on the more protected lakes.
You don't fool around with the elements in this area. Two or three fishermen and a sailboarder have died in the past week.

The weather is looking amazing for Friday through Sunday right now.

Just got back from fishing at the local lake. Still a little windy, but the sun is out, the sky is blue and the fish are biting. Headed up a little higher tomorrow morning.

This is more like it.
