A few of us are heading into the Nis Delta tomorrow late afternoon to fish the "Green Can". Don't know if they are showing up yet, but we're going to prospect. The launch will be Luhr Beach between 3-3:30.

WR you making it out?

If anyone sent Rav a PM about this, there is a good chance he won't see it until right before heading out or even after getting back.

FYI, Luhr "Beach" is a state boat ramp and an easy launch/short paddle from Nisqually.

Any specific questions, shoot me a PM and I'll answer if I can.

Was a good paddle across the delta although no fish were caught. My FF marked countless schools of bait with the occasional arch or two underneath. The flood tide was really ripping which made for some pretty sweet eddies to swirl us around, and stood up some nice little wakes where it met the Nis current. We're gonna try again either Sat or Sun.

might be a little early for that far south in the Sound.  i know some powerboaters that have have some success lately at Pt. Defiance.  And when the kings weren't on, the dogfish were.  at least they're fun to reel in.
