I was going to do Possession Point until I talked to a buddy who said "you should go down to hood canal". My son and I fished Hood Canal by the bridge in my EasyRider Tatoosh tandem yak.  We fished for 6 hours.

I should have checked with NWKA first. We were not only the only kayak but we were the only water craft in the entire area. First huge clue!  I did have something hit my line so hard that every thing came off but after that NOTHING.

The jelly fish and conversation were all that kept the day worth it.  Now that I am back I see I should have gone a bit more North toward the point.

I learned that I really need to plan my trip out a bit more than the night before. :-\
If you can't take the heat...then get out with your yak.

I do like the looks of the water near the bridge but never fished it.  Thanks for the report.
