San Juan Fishing Report (of sorts) 8/4/10

Headed out fishing today for some cabs.  Been away for two weeks so I was itching to get out on the water.  Caught a little bit of everything, closest thing to a cab was a Red Irish Lord.  Playing with my waterproof fuji camera and the Xshot with kayak mount (thanks for the tip, yakinitup) I made this video:



You can just call me Babe Winkleman.  Managed to catch a few fish while the camera was rolling (don't worry - C&R'd them).  The camera doesn't have alot of juice  so, unfortunately I only have regular ol' pictures of the MONSTER I caught late in the day.  a 36-incher.

Wow! Looks like a fun day of fishing.  Would like to head up to the islands sometime.

Looks like a blast!  I've got a really good feel for where you are, by the looks of the can and the background.  I'll be home in September, so we'll have to go take the Hobie's out for a spin.

First time making a fishing video.  It's fun!  Saw Zee's review on the GoPro and I'm checking that out.  And also the Kodak Playsport HD looks pretty good too.
