So we're trying to arrange a trip back to La Paz this fall.

I'd like to plan for Oct 16-23 (preferred) or Oct 31-Nov 6.  Yellowfin tuna and Dorado are prime at this time, but Oct is the month that pretty much all species are available ... http://tailhunter-international.com/fishingchart.htm .

I'm not yet sure if I can make this trip, but Boogie-D has offered to guide it if I can't.

Cost is expected to be in the $1300-1500 range depending on number of people going.  We need a minimum of 3 and can handle up to 5.  The cost will cover everything except flight and alcohol.  This is a Saturday to Saturday trip.  Direct flights to La Paz arrive/depart on Mon/Wed/Sat afternoons.  So the first Sat afternoon/night, we'll spend in port and sleep on the boat in the harbor.  Leave early Sunday morning, back in the harbor Friday night, sleep on the boat in the harbor Friday night.  Saturday departure for the home or where ever.

Any interest?

Lots of interest...  But I am married, thus only one expensive fishing trip per year, and you know how I love Alaska...

Yep, what he said, but I have not made my expensive trip this year and you know how I love warm water.....

Pencil me in. I'm checking airfares and permission slips with slight preference to the first week.

One thing to keep in mind.  Direct flights to La Paz are on Horizon/Alaska from LAX.  For most of us, this is the most expensive leg of the trip.  If you have an Alaska Airlines Credit Card (like I do!) you get a $50 companion fair coupon.  Regardless, it helps in cutting down the flight costs if we can pair people up from LAX.

And oh, I think the first trip is the more likely one so good to see you having a slight preference to it.  There is one person signed up so far, and I need 3 to make this go, with up to 5 being even better.

Gonna try to do the Oct. 16-23 date.  I have one booked, but need at least 2 more to make this a go.  So, if you've been wanting to live the kayak fishing dream, this is the trip for you.  Warm water, lots of fish, a week of mothershipping in the Sea of Cortez!!!

--- bump ---

Got 2 booked now.  Need one more to make it a go.  Anyone contemplating this trip?  I'd like to make a go/no-go decision by end of the month if possible.

There are 3 people booked now, so this trip is a go!!!  And since I have to bail out on the Foggy Bay trip, I now get to guide this one.  We still have space for 2 more.  It's prime time for yellowfin tuna!!!

Due to some schedule issues, we've changed the trip to now be the week of Oct 23-30.
