Not a heckuva lot happening out there.  There were about a dozen boats scattered around and I did hear some hootin' and hollerin' out by the yellow buoy but couldn't tell if someone had actually caught a fish or they were just having some fun.

I got on the water at 6pm and started by jigging at the paper mill for about an hour.  Marked one small school of bait fish with one fish big enough to be a salmon in 85 FOW and that was about it.  I put on the Kone Zone flasher and Silver Horde Cookies and Cream spoon and drug that around for another hour then called it quits.

Overall, just plain slow.

I did get to meet Chris from here though.  That was pretty cool.  Nice to meet you Chris!  I think I'll be hitting the rivers for a while til the weather warms up again or until the Silvers start showing up around Brown's Point.  I have some Royal Flash Flies that I'd like to try.

The good part is, I didn't get stuck on a beach for 2 hours this time!  The conditions were calm and beautiful.  Water was so still that I saw 0.00 mph on the GPS for over a half hour at high slack tide.  It was kinda nice being able to pick a spot and stay there for a while instead of repositioning every 30 minutes.

'Til next time....

Bobby

Yeah it was nice to meet you to Bobarino.  I have never been much a river fisher but my friend that went out with me the other day wants to try it and I wouldn't mind trying it too.  Maybe we will hook up sometime and try the rivers.
