Wetsuit vs. Dry Suit

For fishing saltwater around San Juans, Port Angeles, Sequim waters will a full wetsuit with other clothing keep me warm enough to fish?

Plenty warm, if somewhat constricted....When I was a wetsuit user, the only thing that bothered me was cold feet, even in my wetsuit booties.  A "spray Jacket" over the top will keep the wind at bay, and you're not going to be immersed, hopefully, so you should be dry form the knees up.

I have a 5/4/3mm Excel and a 3/2mm Short Sleave long leg I've been using for 2 years for ocean fishing.  The 5/4/3 keeps me warm enough to surf for 4 hours+ in January on the Oregon coast.  I've never been uncomfortable using the 2 fishing here either.  The 3/2 is great for warm sunny days and I have no problem being IN the water for 4 hours with it.

I personally like the piece of mind a wetsuit provides as I know it will keep me warm in the water and there is no real threat of leaks or holes that could happen with a dry suit.  Part or my preference probably comes from years of surfing though as well.

I took some old, leaky waders, with neoprene booties, & cut the legs off at the knees. I put these on before the wet-suit. My feet stay warm, I can wade up to my knees, and still have the safety and warmth of a wet suit. If you wade in too deep, or go swimming, a little bit  of water leaks down into the wader feet, but not too bad.

noooo, he turned a pair of waders into knee length socks to be worn under the wet suit..
