Ok ... third time's a charm.
Anyone headed to Neah Bay or Hobuck this weekend? I will be fishing Saturday and Sunday. Water looks to be good on the ocean side. Hope to see some of your guys out there.

I believe TheTallMan is heading out that way for the weekend. Conditions are gonna be awesome.
If the conditions line up I just may be there next weekend.

That makes you half an hour closer than me! The swells took to be nice and long should be good fishing.

Pondering going out to Hobucks for this weekend too - NOAA just changed the weather forecast for Sat evening to be not as ideal (Sat Night...S wind 10 kt rising to 20 kt. Wind waves 1 ft building to 3 ft. W swell 5 ft at 10 seconds. Rain likely), but it is going to be way better than last weekend - I was up there and it was way too windy to go out in the kayak, the swells were smashing on the rocks pretty hard out in Makah Bay. I did end up w/ a nice 13lb silver I caught over at the Sooes river though, so it was a good trip.

Well, maybe I should keep it a secret but the straits' side of Neah Bay produces abundant fish and was fishable all last weekend, caught 2 31 inch ling and a bunch of Seabass.

I did drive out on the breakwater last weekend to check out potential launch sites and it looked pretty fishable.

No worries, no secret about Neah Bay and the Strait. Lots of members have been fishing it for years. Polepole, correct me if I'm wrong but the first NWKA tournament was there. There's a ton of nice spots along 112. Just look for the clearings, park, and get to jigging. A week to take time and fish 'em would be a total blast.
