I have a buddy looking into getting an inflatable for kayak fishing.  Wants it to have rod mounts, down rigger and fish finder mount capabilities.  Needs to be safe for rivers, lakes and the sound.  He likes the idea of inflatable for storage (little room to store at his place) and being able to pack and go.  Suggestions?  He's looking at this one by Saturn but I can find no reviews on it .

Thanks!

I have not heard of the Saturn either.  Advanced Elements is coming out with the Strait Edge Angler Kayak this year.
Here is a review of it.

he should look at the sea eagles too.

foldcat isnt a yak, but has what he wants; http://www.seaeagle.com/FoldCat.aspx

full site; http://www.seaeagle.com/

then, of course, there's the Hobies.

couple months back one of our members took the g/f to B.C. salmon fishing and was loaned another's inflatable yak, but i don't know what brand it was any more, though at the time research showed it to be a bit more than the largest hobie inflatable.

any idea what his bottom line is?

thanks guys.  I forwarded it to my buddy.  I think the AE probably best matches his budget.  I like the Sea Eagle boats for pontoons.
