I just saw a REI Marlin SOT for $250 in the seattle craigslist:

With those dual ventral fins, funky rudder and sleek hull shape, you just have to put some little art to make it look like a fast-mean-sharkyak-machine

I saw that too. Would make a back up Yak to take a friend out in. Pretty cool design I bet it is fast.

Yes, it looks pretty cool indeed. It also looks like polepole was interested in this type of boat a few year's back as far as I read on the NCKA link, perhaps he'll get it this time? Seems that I have too many boats and not enough time to paddle them.

The cockpit was too short for my legs (34" inseam).
