Yep, Rory, that's the one... polepole is in LaPaz right now isnt he?  i really hate to see all the work he did to get this site cleaned up and back up go to waste.
As of July 12th, I am, officially,  retired.

Yup that's the one I get on both of my new computers using Firefox.  At work Internet Exploder works fine getting on here.  Until it passes the test through Firefox at home, I'll be accessing NWKA.com through work only.  I really hate software, online hacks and viruses, and really don't have the time to deal with something that may be lurking out there ready to sneak up my pant leg and bite me in the nutz.   :-\

Anyone know when P2 will be back?  People from other sites are asking what's going on with NWKA's malicious software issues.

I finally ended up un-checking the "fraudulent website warning" box in my Safari preferences. It was getting to be a real pain clicking two continue buttons every time I went to a different page. So far my malware software hasn't detected anything, so I guess we just have to live with the problem for a while.

In case it's useful, this is what Norton is flagging the site as:
Threat Report  Total threats found: 3

Small-whitebg-red Drive-By Downloads (what's this?)   Threats found: 3
Here is a complete list: (for more information about a specific threat, click on the Threat Name below)

Threat Name: HTTP Fake AV Redirect Request
Location: http://www.northwestkayakanglers.com/tp-files/tp-blockcodes/index.php%3Fnews%3Dhalloween-pumpkin-carving-patternsXX

X's at the end of the pumpkin URLs were added just in case clicking them would infect yourself or something.  I'm not much of a computer person so I don't know what would happen if you do, but don't plan on trying to test my security software whatever the case.

I typed in searches for the internet IP numbers that were on the Google page that Demonick posted. It seems that we aren't the only website that has been compromised by whoever it is that is doing this.

Sorry guys.  Yes, I've been in La Paz.  In LAX right now on the way home.  I just cleaned up the hackers mess (again!).  Will be preparing for a server move this week which should permanently solve the recent issues.
