That guy they plucked out of Willapa Bay (unconscious) is going to pull through too. It was the rescue swimmer's first shift on duty after certification! They still haven't found his buddy.  :(

They pulled a yaker from the Chetco last month too.
 This guy stated he was "teaching himself to kayak"...which is great, if the water level wasn't so high tree's were coming down the river that day!
 I think it is time for an educational Kayak class/club down here.
