I'm looking for some input on fishing rod holder mounts for a Hobie Adventure,  I'll be picking mine up in the next week or so and would like to get it rigged up soon for some Columbia River springer fishing.  I'm partial to scotty rod holder and mounts but am not sure about placement and mount configuration.  I'd like to use flush mounts on top of the gunnels by the foot well but I'm concerned about weakening the hull with a 1" center hole with 4 mounting bolts last thing I want is cracking, from to much stress from a hard springer hit.
If it wasn't for flashbacks, I'd have no memories at all.

Not sure if I can totally picture where you want your rod holders.. Heres how I rigged mine,  Works great, for me, for trolling for salmon etc.  You will like the Adventure
