Don't know what the upside of the inflatables is....seem to be some serious downsides.  And....maybe a great white???

I'm glad it was under him and not on top of him. That was an expensive cetacean encounter. Leash it or lose it. I'm betting his wife will be stuffing his stocking with some shock cord and Scotty clips.


On a related note, I've had good luck with these little keychains for attaching to reels etc. where a clip is too bulky. Cheap, strong and corrosion resistant. Pair with a 2" SS screw lock quick link for quick changes.

I thought about that as well...

Personally I would not want 4 heavy rods all on leashes in that sort of event. The chance that you get tangled in one is too high.
