Homemade jigs

I know I saw the "how to" here somewhere, but can't find it. Jigs made out of table knives. It inspired me to make some. The copper pipe has pencil lead rattle on the inside.

Nice jigs!  I like the prism tape.
I'll bet they fish well.  Let know how they do.

thanks. I used stainless, but they could still rust some where I ground them off. Think I'll coat them with clear lacquer. I'll let you know how they do.

Sweet!!  One thought---a split ring with a #5 swivel to the hook  to keep the fish from using the jig as a lever to unhook itself.

I still haven't used mine yet, forgot all about it. Gotta dig that sucker out and give it a try

I'll try it, thanks. Think I'll trim the front end of the copper also, may help with hangups. I've heard of using copper tubing for jigs, but haven't caught anything with them yet. Think I need to get into deeper water.
