Its funny, but I was seriously considering trying that in La Paz. Never got around to it (too lazy to tie flies), but it seemed logical and a great idea while I was snorkeling.

But then I'd have to change my handle to fishesfromunderware.

well,I'm actually from Mexico,but I've lived here(WA) most of my life,I go back home to the state of Veracruz at least once a year,there is a "decent"tarpon fisherie over there.

Very cool! I'll bet that would work with a hand line for lings & brf (if I'm in the water, I usually just shoot 'em). Maybe I'll try it with one of those table ware jigs I made. Think my next project will be tying some saltwater flies. Anyone know where I can get a decent used tying vice?
