Hello, everyone.  My name is Dick Lane, and I live on Sutton Lake just north of Florence.  I fished in Southern California in my Hobie Outback for five years, mainly out of Dana Point and Newport Harbors.  I sure would appreciate some pointers regarding kayak fishing in my new area.  It seems like a different ocean up here.

Coosbayyaker, I'd especially appreciate info about the local lakes and the Coos Bay area.  I'm eager to get back at it, but this is a different world than I'm used to.  Suggestions about clothing, gear and fishing sites would be particularly valuable.

Hope to get to know a lot of you.  Thanks for any information coming my way.

Hi Dick, welcome to the NWKA. I used to fish Dana Point back in the late sixties when the breakwater was first put in place! Anyway, I would be happy to help you out with the Florence fishing scene. I PM'd you my contact info, so give me a call and we can go fishing together.
