With the $290 option sail kit....aaarrggg.

Spotted it this morning (a thrift shop in Kirkland had it) - started calling at 8:00 am, no one answered until 10:15 and some @sswipe (no offense if it was someone on here) beat me to it.  Probably a reseller using speed dial or something.

Dang, back to the drawing board.

Wow, that is really cheap. I'm guessing it was used. Never know what condition it was in so don't feel too bad. ;)

Keep your eye out (Craigslist, Ebay etc.) and you'll find your deal. I got my first Outback off Craigslist from a lady who won it in a raffle @ her yacht club. It sat in her garage wrapped in plastic for 4 months until she moved and decided to sell. She didn't even know what it was, just wanted to get rid of it... got it for $400. 8)

Don't ya hate that.Just missing out on a good deal.

I found a great deal on a brand new hobie outback with all the bells and whistles a couple days after i bought mine.It was in AZ but it would have ended up being 2 hundred less shipped to me with a bunch more accessories like a dodger and a sail kit.Oh well, what can you do, kinda like waiting to by the next better computer...

Keep looking, a deal will come along
See ya on the water..

You have to be fast on craigslist!!!...

I've got some great deals though. My Old Town Loon 138T is in great shape and I picked it up for $220. My Hobie Outback was also from craigslist. I bought from an older gentleman who had in on a floating home so there was not a single scratch on the bottom. $500 with yakima rack and Thule J-mounts. By the time I sold all the extra's I was into the Hobie under $350(even less if you count the profit on the kayak I sold to buy the Hobie). I love craigslist but it gets old to have to drop everything and RUN to get a deal...
