Howdy all,

To start, we rolled incredibly bad (bowling) so I missed the M&G, really wanted to meet y'all.  Anyways, was running a K-15 chartreuse tip, Ag body with a generoues sardine rap.  Hitting the correct depths and had almost perfect rod action, past the ninth eyelet.  Do not remember the terms, had many libations, but would set up stationary for 25 min then switch to a shoot drag for 25.  Fresh bait and...  Nothing.  Half of the fish taken (4) that I know of on this stretch were on the depths and rockpile at Staff Jennings.  For the sturgeon folks, same news. High water, dark and basically shitty.  Bought a new rod and reel, my lady friend is tellling me that blah blah blah, this is fishing.  Hope it helps someone, see y'all on the river!

Picking up, troll a 45/45 up to Sellwood bridge then switch bait and mooch back to Zidell.  Wash rinse repeat..  There is a sea lion (B@st@#d) but it is running the deep channel so no worries.  25' to 40' is producing but as the water clears should improve.  Not on the NOAA charts but if you watch your sonar, you will see a scour channel, hydrodynamics.  From the powerlines (Zidell) get your depth.  It will shift close to the shore, once you pass the first bay keep the same distance from the shore.

What's kinda scary is I actually understand most of what you wrote! Welcome to the "club" :D
I may have a day in the week after Easter to practice a bit of wash, rinse, repeat. If I bump into you remind to tell you a story about how the MAN tracked me down in my house over that sea lion.
 So did you score?

Cool, thanks for the info!  I've been wanting to get back out and troll that area again, hopefully I'll bump into you out there.  Where do you launch from?
