When sucking up sandshrimp is the highlight of the day, you know it was a totally bitchin' day for sturgeon.
On my last day of fishing until Mem Day Weekend, Demonick and I hit Priest Pt. Weather conditions great,
tides great, and for me, cluster f..k was the name of the game. Draggin anchor, trolley problems, nobody knows the trouble I've seen. Have you ever seen two semi-grown men just hootin' and hollerin' and just being giddy using a sandshrimp gun to get bait? Well, I'm just glad we don't have a You Tube video of it.
Demonic buddy, let's do it again but you get your own gun. You've come of age! Actually had a good time with a good friend.

Fishnut is a fiend with the sand shrimp gun.  We were giggling like school girls while diving for exposed sand shrimp in an inch of water.

And TLW says I'm complicated.

I had sand in my hat.

The one fish of the day was another starry flounder.  The weather was beautiful until 2:30pm when the wind quickly came up ahead of the cold front and we headed in shortly thereafter.

Saw one sturgeon caught off a boat, but it was to big to keep.  They released it.

Another great time with the Fishnut.
