Great reel---loaded with 400yds  25# Big Game, just back from Alan Tani with new Carbontex washers and upgraded bearings.  Will spin a 45-second freespool!!  6.4:1 Super speed for jigging and catching up to tuna.
This is a well-regarded big-fish reel, not for your papi's trout....some boat rash but well taken care of. Perfect for Halibut or Dinos....or big kings.  If it swims in the ocean, it can swim in butter....PS---no clamp.

The original Saltist series is built tough with full metal construction, with virtually all components being metal for maximum reliability while most competitor reels at this price point are full of graphite components. Built to handle ultra-strong braided lines in addition to traditional monofilament the body frame and side plates are all constructed of rigid aluminium alloy.

Four ball bearings and a roller bearing add efficiency to the drive train support, with Daiwa’s special CRBB anti-corrosion ball bearings supporting the spool.
