Threw together today as an afterthought before last Butt trip to OP. Want height? 9' using an ancient Fenwick FS-90 rod, 3 snap swivels, heavy mono and 2 tractor reflectors stuck together. If I don't get a Butt at least I can get some Beef out of some farmer's field on the drive home. ;D Oh yeah. Also some old pipe insulation I had laying around to secure a tight fit in the rod holder.

Nothing ghetto 'bout that. Nice and tall.

You could 'hood it up' if you clipped a squashed Olde English or Steel Reserve can for a radar reflector.

Dude!  I love it!

 :headbang:

Simple, and very creative.
Now ya got a back up rod if you snap one pulling in a bruiser 'butt.

You could even tie on orange streamers to each eye to give it even more snazzle.

Not to answer for him.... but yep. We went out to Hood Canal to hit up shrimping on the 14th. Walked away with 42 total (21 a piece).

Not too shabby for not having shrimped since I was a kid!

I love the ghetto flag pole.  I used clip a flag to one of backup rods for awhile.  I may go back to that again for the ORC.
