Can't recommend acupuncture enough.  Got a great practioner in Raleigh Hills (SW PDX) if you're interested.

Guys. I can totally relate and sympathize with you all. Since I got out of my walking cast for the ankle I broke in Feb, I have had ongoing bouts of Sciatica in my Rt leg and
butt. Couple that with the 2 eye surgeries for a detached vitreous/retinal tear, cataract
surgery in the same eye and an injection of a steroid last month directly in that eye(and
my sight/depth perception still sucks big time) and Meniere's Disease. Let's not add on that I got laid off in March(can't find work) and Yakchick is disabled from a bad ladder fall last May and life is a bitch. THE GOOD NEWS though is that when i'm in my Hobie(when I can pull myself out to load it up)all my cares seem to almost vanish. Not to mention that I've landed some species that I had on my Bucket List ;D. That cushion looks good. Right now I add a foam pad and can stay out all day and the Mirage Drive
peddaling seems to help. Best of luck to all and maybe we can get the
1st ANNUAL AOTOML(Ow, my leg) >:D(thanks to the anonomous Alaskan yakker)ANYFISH CLASSIC going ;). Hang tough.
