Just got in with three bright pinks.  One buck was a 26" and heavy.  I will be heading out next week  after work when the tides are right.  It's starting to get a bit of a zoo with all the motorcraft -- but the fishing is great.  My new outback has been officially salmon christened.  Hope to see some more yaks on the water.

Congrats on getting some salmon blood on your new Outback. You're off to a great start. Keep up the great reports.

Where are you launching from, the town of snohomish? Also, what is the current like there?

I'm launching from Lowell /Rotary Park.  The current is not too bad but it can take you a long way with very little work out and a lot of work back ( or at least until tide change.)  I tend to fish from the launch and upstream to about a mile and 1/2.

In the past I bank fished upstream of the boat launch at a number of locations.  The river is narrow and the power boaters seem to think it is a highway between where ever they are and where ever they want to be.  I bounced a few buzz bombs off a few hulls.  Keep your head on a swivel.  Nice bright pinks can be had there.

You're right about the power boaters----was crazy out there this morning.  I landed two bucks (both about 6 pounds) my first 1/2 hour out.  Didn't get anything the next few hours.  Seems like even more traffic than two years ago.  Oh well, it was a blast being towed around the river by the salmon.

Just got in.  Had a fun couple of hours on the lower snohomish.  Got two nice bucks on Sunday (largest one about 8lbs and 27 inches- see pic) and three today. It's been an absolute blast with the mirage drive on the Outback. The last four fish caught have been a matter of looking for splashes, pedaling like mad to the general area of the splash, and tossing a jig.  Love the new Hobie.  Will be out tomorrow morning with the incoming tide.  I'll be in the orange outback.
